Captain John Marfia was born and raised in San Jose, Ca. At age 5 John was introduced to S.F. BAY AREA fishing by his family. In 1995 he caught his first King Salmon in Monterey Bay and at that point he knew chasing King Salmon would be something he would pursue for his lifetime. His passion for fishing has been passed down from a generation of commercial fishermen, It’s in his blood!
